Kyle is from Mentor, Ohio and left his home at 18 to follow his dream of becoming a chef.
After going to Johnson & Wales he spent a lot of time honing his technique at luxury hotels like The Ocean House & The Chanler. He gained a lot of ingenuity by working in two creative restaurants in Providence, Birch and The Grange. Once he felt he had established a good foundational knowledge of cooking, he left the kitchen completely to learn about farming at Wishing Stone Farm in Little Compton, RI. He then used that knowledge to travel through Europe & South America working on farms and eating fancy dinners.
He was originally inspired to be a chef by watching Iron Chef America with his mother. Thanks Mom!
