Brian O'Donnell

Executive Sous Chef

Brian grew up in North Kingstown, RI.  He was always involved with music and studied the saxophone n college. While in school, Brian got his first job in a restaurant and fell in love with cooking.  He has worked in numerous different styles of restaurants and eventually made his way to Boston, where he worked first as a charcuterie chef, later as a sous chef and eventually head chef at a few different Boston restaurants.  After the COVID pandemic, Brian moved back to Newport to be closer to family and to help his brother, Kevin, open Giusto.

Brian has a Jeopardy-like memory and he loves to go fishing.  Next time you’re out and about by the water, take a look.  You might just run into him there.
